The Department of Human Services has selected three Managed-Care Organizations (MCOs) to deliver Managed Long-Term Services and Supports (MLTSS) through the Community HealthChoices (CHC) Waiver. The CHC waiver began in Pennsylvania on January 01, 2018 and will be offered across the entire state of Pennsylvania by January 01, 2020. All individuals approved for the CHC waiver will be offered a choice of the following Managed-Care Organizations (MCOs) and individuals are able to change their MCO at any time.
The Community HealthChoices (CHC) waiver is an option for eligible individuals to receive services in their home and community instead of moving to a nursing home. A description of the CHC waiver is included below along with a breakdown of the services an individual may be eligible for through this waiver.
